MECHANIC DEVICES During the machining of building materials (cutting, grinding, drilling), a significant amount of dust and sludge is generated. The TM MECHANIC range offers accessories designed to effectively remove dust and sludge from the building material handling area. WORKING WITH CERAMIC TILES Angle grinders are commonly used for cutting and deburring ceramic tiles. TM MECHANIC offers a variety of accessories for these purposes: Tile Cutting: SLIDER 90x125, SLIDER 45x115-125, and DUSTER 45 115-125 are designed for tile cutting at 90 and 45 degrees respectively and can be used with any 125 angle grinder. The SLIDER 90x125 is equipped with a special dust extraction pipe, while the 45-degree cutting device does not have one but can be used with a separate dust extraction pipe (PIPE 45). The SLIDER 45x115-125 2.0 is preset and used for mass cuts at 45 degrees. The DUSTER 45 115-125 provides manual control of the cut with maximum visibility. Tile Drilling: Drilling begins with marking, and for tiles not laid on the wall, holes can be transferred from the wall using the TILETEMPLATE stencil. After marking, drilling should be done carefully to avoid damaging the tiles. The EasyFix allows drilling to start with bore bits up to 70 mm. CoolGel provides cooling and dust extraction when drilling without coolant. For dust-free drilling, HomeDuster (up to 20 mm diameter holes) and DrillDuster (up to 82 mm diameter holes) can be used. Miter Cutting: Use TileDuster with 115 mm and 125 mm angle grinders to minimize dust during "miter cutting". The Click-Lock Uni holder is a new development for 'miter cutting', equipped with magnets for attaching to the cutting disc and grinding the edge of the tile without disc removal. WORKING WITH CONCRETE, BRICKS, AND OTHER BUILDING MATERIALS Tasks involving materials like concrete, bricks, aerated concrete, and foamed concrete generate even more dust or water (if wet drilling) than working with ceramic tiles. There are various devices available for these materials: Cutting: AirDuster 115-125 and AirDuster attachments allow practically dust-free cutting of concrete and other construction materials on 115, 125, and 230 mm angle grinders. Upgraded versions include the AirChaser wall-grooving machine, featuring special wheels for easy handling and adjustable cutting depth. Drilling: AquaDUSTER 162 is designed to remove water sludge and can be used with diamond drill bits up to 162 mm in diameter.
